LFR-LOGO-CMYK-long TXTWe have had the same logo for over 40 years and we decided it is time to re-engineer the logo to better reflect our clients journey, the communities we serve and our mission to deliver the best in rehabilitative care.

Our new logo and site are designed to evoke both our clinical expertise while still demonstrating our clients well- being is at the centre of all that we do.

Tama tu tama ora, tama noho tama mate

LFR-Brand-colour3The logo has an abstract step reference inspired in part by the poutama tukutuku, which are traditional woven Maori designs used within the Marae (meeting houses). The poutama is unique representing family /whánau (genealogies) education, progress, growth and ascension with its stepped design.

The stepped design in our logo symbolises levels of attainment and advancement multiplying into a connected whole. We know that only by working together with our clients and colleagues, can we achieve our goals. We have deliberately not enclosed the step symbol, as it shows progress occurs when we are open to possibilities and many pathways.

The distinctive light and dark blue combo is the core of the brand.

The one coloured symbol relaxes the complex design, allowing the pattern to show through more clearly. Balanced with a friendly typeface, the logo comes together with the well structured crisp blue colours. The lighter blue is a calming colour, symbolising peace and the darker blue conveys strength and reliability as well as being familiar to existing clients.

A secondary colour palette has been designed to complement the core blue colours and allow us to inject the uplifting joy of colour into our collateral.

The Road Ahead

The task in the upcoming months will be to update all our collateral, uniforms, vehicles, business cards, etc with the new logo.  We realize that changing a logo is a process that can involve many steps and take some time, so we will finalize it gradually.

If you have used the Laura Fergusson Rehabilitation logo in any of your marketing materials, please assist us in updating them.  We appreciate your kind support. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
