Event Details

Please join us for an evening of fine food and the opportunity to hear Dr Hamish Ross speak, for the first time publicly, about an unresolved America’s Cup mystery which occupied a great portion of his doctoral research, discuss several past forgotten America’s Cup controversies, as well an an update as we head towards the 36th America’s Cup in Auckland in early 2021.

About the Speaker

Dr Hamish Ross has been at the centre of the America’s Cup for more than two decades as part of several winning teams and as an advisor during many recent America’s Cup controversies.

He was awarded a PhD (Law) for his work on the America’s Cup Deed of Gift.

He is an America’s Cup Hall of Fame Selector and was the instigator of the recently unveiled Sir Richard Sutton Medal to recognise acts of sportsmanship in the America’s Cup.
